Your life has a purpose

Everything in life has a purpose. Just take a look at creation around you, everything exists with a purpose. Why is purpose so important? Purpose gives us a sense of direction, meaning, significance, strength and destiny. In fact, without purpose, there will inevitably be abuse. Abuse merely means abnormal use or misuse. Nobody wears an Armani suit for a swim. That's not its purpose and with that abuse the suit will be ruined!

Then how does one discover his purpose in life?

Your abilities show your purpose
As much as you have a biological genetic make-up unique only to you, you have a specific and unique purpose and function. Its built in you. Some people love to socialize and those who love solitude. Some are very creative. Some are born to lead others to manage. None are better than the other. Its not matter of hierarchy but function. So ask yourself these questions:

> What are my abilities and talents?
> What am I passionate about?
> What is my personality type?

Your passion reveals your purpose
Mark Twain once said, "When you find a work that you enjoy, its no longer work but play" You know what you are passionate about when you are willing to do it for free!

Your purpose is found where your abilities and needs of people meet
It is so easy to live selfishly in our day and age. It comes so naturally to just live for self. And why not? After all, if I don't live for myself, who will live for me? The happiest moments in my life was when I was able to help somebody else with the abilities I have. I believe you would have had the same experience. There is joy when our needs are met, but nothing compares to the joy of meeting the needs of someone else!

Even though it is important to know your purpose in life it is not complete until you use that ability to help someone else. One person is like princess Diana, instead of wallowing in her own problems she chose to look at the needs of someone else.
